Fabio Canova;

Fabio Canova is the Pierre Werner Chair in Monetary Economics at the Schuman Center, EUI and Professor of Econometrics at EUI. He has held consultancy positions with the Bank of England, the ECB, the Bank of Italy, the Bank of Spain and the IMF. His research interests are in quantitative macroeconomics, monetary economics, time series and forecasting, international business cycles, growth policies. Professor Canova has held editorial positions with the European Economic Review and the Journal of the European Economic Association, and he is currently co-editor of the Journal of Applied Econometrics. He is the author of the graduate textbook Methods for Applied Macroeconomic Research.


Marcelle Chauvet;

Marcelle Chauvet is Professor of Economics at the University of California, Riverside. In the past she has served as an Economic Advisor of the Ministry of Industry for Brazil and she has been a visiting scholar for IMF. Her research interests include macroeconomics, time series analysis and forecasting, finance, Latin American economics, and development and growth. Professor Chauvet is co-editor of Contemporary Economic Policy, associate editor for Macroeconomic Dynamics, assistant editor of the Journal of Applied Econometrics, and a board member of the Journal of Business Cycle Measurement and Analysis (JBCMA).


M. Hashem Pesaran;

Hashem Pesaran is the John Elliot Distinguished Chair in Economics at the University of Southern California, and a Professorial Fellow of Trinity College, Cambridge. He is the founding editor of the Journal of Applied Econometrics, and a co-developer of the econometrics software package Microfit. In the past he has served as a member of the World Bank’s Council of Advisers for the Middle East and North Africa. His research interests span the areas of time series and panel data econometrics, empirical finance and macroeconomics, and he is an expert in the economics of oil and the Middle East. He is the author of several books, including The Limits to Rational Expectations. Professor Pesaran is a Fellow of the British Academy, a Fellow of the Econometric Society, and a Fellow of the Journal of Econometrics.


Barbara Rossi;

Barbara Rossi is ICREA Research Professor at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra and Research Associate at CREI. She is also a Research Fellow of the Center for Applied Financial Economics (University of Southern California). Her research interests include time series econometrics and forecasting, applied international finance, and macroeconomics. Professor Rossi is associate editor of the Journal of Business and Economic Statistics, the Journal of Applied Econometrics, Quantitative Economics, and the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control. She is also a member of the American Economic Association, the Econometric Society, the European Area Business Cycle Network, and the American Statistical Association.


Badi H. Baltagi; (Former IAAE Director)

Badi Baltagi is distinguished Professor of Economics, and Senior Research Associate at the Center for Policy Research, Syracuse University. He is co-editor of Empirical Economics and Economics Letters, and the replication editor of the Journal of Applied Econometrics. His research interests cover a broad range of topics in econometrics, especially panel data, specification testing, simultaneous equations, seemingly unrelated regressions, cross-sectional and spatial dependence. He is the author/editor of several textbooks including Econometric Analysis of Panel Data. Professor Baltagi is a Fellow of the Journal of Econometrics and a recipient of the Plura Scripsit Award from Econometric Theory.
